SOP for CLEANING OF BOTTLE FILLING MACHINE

 

1.0        OBJECTIVE             :   

To lay down procedure for cleaning of bottle filling machine.

2.0        SCOPE:

This procedure is applicable to the bottle filling machine of beta lactum department at any pharmaceutical industry.

5.0        PROCEDURE:

5.1        Dismantled the machine completely.

5.2        All parts of the machine removed should be washed with D.M. water

5.3        The parts as well as the flexible tubing of the assembly should be immersed in a

5.4        Suitable anti-septic solution for 30 minutes. Then wash with D.M. water till the Antiseptic has been removed completely.

5.5        The parts should be set aside for the electrical connection should be covered with polythene sheets and un-removable parts are moped with lint free mop using dm water and follows mop.

5.6        The flexible hoses should be cleaned as above and ends of these are covered with politeness sheets and stored in a dust free area.
