SOP for OPERATION OF BOTTLE FILLING MACHINE

 

1.0        OBJECTIVE             :   

To ensure that right quantity and quantity material is received on line before coming actual operation.

2.0        SCOPE:

This procedure is applicable for the operation of bottle filling machine at any pharmaceutical industry.

3.0        RESPONSIBILITY   :                                                                                   

Operator and Production personnel.                                                                               

4.0        ACCOUNTABILITY           :

Head of the department             

5.0        PROCEDURE:

5.1        Before starting powder filling ensure that, the bulk containers are having released Label for filling.

5.2        The filling machine is assured to determine required weight.

5.3        Cleaned dry syrup bottle be used.

5.4        Filled weight record is to be maintained as per Performa prescribed.

5.5        Powder is filled under constant slow stirring operation and taking care there is no air trap or any other extraneous particles or moisture in the powder during filling operation.
