SOP for Personnel Health and Hygiene (Department : Personnel & Administration)

 

1.0.      OBJECTIVE                          :

1.1       To lay down procedure to establish code of conduct for the employees regarding expected standard of health and hygiene at the factory.                                                                                                            

2.0.      SCOPE                        :

2.1       This procedure is applicable for all employees working inside the factory.        

3.0.      RESPONSIBILITY    :                                                    

3.1.      Employee shall be randomly checked by department Head P & A Department regarding health and hygiene condition                                                                                            

4.0.      ACCOUNTABILITY             :

5.0.      PROCEDURE                        :

5.1.      Health

5.1.1    A person should have normal health condition while working in the factory.                                                                

5.1.2    Person should not suffer from viral infection while working in the factory.                                                                 

5.1.3    Incase of leave more than two days due to sickness for the reason of any infectious / contagious disease, the employee concerned has to submit medical fitness certificate before resuming duty.                                       

5.2       Hygiene                      

5.2.1    Employee should have acceptable hygienic habit while working at the factory.

5.2.2    Employee should wear properly washed and ironed cloths.                 

5.2.3    Employees hair and nails should be properly cropped and trimmed and should not contain any dirt.   

5.2.4    Employees who are working in production area shall not wear Bindi, Ornaments, wrist watch and not to use any perfume, nail polish, lawsania albu (Mehndi), Eye liner etc. during working hours.                       

5.2.5    Employee shall be randomly checked in every month by Dept. Head / Section Head and P&A Officer regarding health and hygiene condition.
