SOP for STOPPING OPERATION IN DRY SYRUP DEPARTMENT.


1.0        OBJECTIVE             :   

To lay down procedure for stopping operation in dry syrup department.

 

2.0        SCOPE:

This procedure is applicable during the stopping of operation in dry syrup department while any type of stop activity like but not limited to lunch, tea, dinner or at the end of the shift at any pharma industry.

 

3.0        RESPONSIBILITY   :                                                                                   

All personnel works at beta lactum department.    

                                                                           

4.0        ACCOUNTABILITY           :

Head of the department             

 

5.0        PROCEDURE:

5.1        DURING LUNCH AND TEA TIMES:

5.1.1        Switch off the mains of the machine.

5.1.2        Switch off the mains of AHU.

5.1.3        Switch off the mains of AC.

5.1.4        Close the container properly and clean them outside.

5.1.5        Cover the open parts of the machine by means of poly bags or the machine covers.

5.1.6        Close the container of the powder with lid.

5.1.7        Check again that at no place powder or machine parts are kept open.

5.1.8        Switch off the lights.

 

5.2        AT THE END OF THE SHIFTS

5.2.1        Switch off the mains of the machine.

5.2.2        Switch off the mains of AHU.

5.2.3        Switch off the mains of AC.

5.2.4        Close the container properly and clean them outside.

5.2.5        Cover the open parts of the machine by means of poly bags or the machine covers.

5.2.6        Cover all the tanks and vessels containing powder and labeled properly.

5.2.7        All the machines are clean covered and labeled.

5.2.8        Check again that at no place solutions or machine parts are kept open.

5.2.9        Switch off the lights.

5.2.10    Close the doors.
