SOP for DEHUMIDIFIER OPERATION at Beta lactum

 

1.0.            OBJECTIVE                      :

1.1              To lay down a procedure for the Operation & cleaning of dehumidifier.

 

2.0.            SCOPE                   :

2.1       This procedure is applicable for the Operation & cleaning of dehumidifier.

 

3.0.            RESPONSIBILITY:

3.1              Operator shall be responsible for Operation & cleaning of dehumidifier.

3.2              Production Officer shall be responsible for verification of Operation & cleaning of dehumidifier

 

4.0.            ACCOUNTABILITY :     

4.1              Head of the department

 

5.0.            PROCEDURE        :

OPERATION:

5.1.            Ensure required electrical connections are tight, earth proof.

5.2.            Check the position of the dehumidifier.

5.3.            After checking necessary parameters & satisfactory compliance of pre-requisite parameters, start the dehumidifier.

5.4.            Switch indicates “motor” on it.

5.5.            Ensure that fan working is proper.

5.6.            After three minutes switch indicate “heater “on it.

5.7.            After completion of process in particular area, stop the dehumidifier of the concerned area.

CLEANING:

5.8.            Disconnect the equipment from electrical main supply.

5.9.            Dedusting external surface with vacuum cleaner. Wipe with clean dry lint free duster.

5.10.        Dedusting filter pad with vacuum cleaner.
