SOP for STORAGE OF DRY SYRUP FILLING / SEALING MACHINE WHILE NOT IN USE CONDITION

 1.0        OBJECTIVE             :   

During not in use condition of dry syrup filling and sealing machine there might be chances of the dusting which leads to adversely effects on the life span of the machine.

2.0        SCOPE:

This procedure is applicable to the proper storage of the filling and sealing machine of beta lactum department at any pharmaceutical industry.

3.0        RESPONSIBILITY   :                                                                                    

Production operator and Personnel.    

                                                                           

4.0        ACCOUNTABILITY           :

Head of the department             

 

5.0        PROCEDURE:

5.1        After the activity is over, the machine will be cleaned as per the “Standard operating procedure”. The parts will be smeared with thick gear oil No.140.

 

5.2        The Machine will then be covered with a Polyethylene bag followed by a thick cloth cover. This cloth cover will bear a cleaning label incorporating the following details.

·         Machine Name

·         Name and Batch No. of last product

·         Name and batch No. of next product

·         Name of operator who cleaned the machine

·         Date of cleaning

·          Supervised by
