SOP for Cleaning & Sanitization of general areas (Department : Personnel & Administration)

 1.0.      OBJECTIVE              :      

1.1       To lay down procedure of cleaning and sanitation at the factory.               

2.0.      SCOPE                        :                                      

2.1       This procedure  is applicable  to :

2.1.1.   Administrative Area, Utility section

3.0.      RESPONSIBILITY    : 

3.1.      House keeping personnel is responsible for cleaning & sanitisation of general areas.

3.2       P & A personnel is responsible for verification of implementation of the procedure.

4.0.      ACCOUNTABILITY :

Head of the P & A department             

                                                

5.0.      PROCEDURE                        :

5.1       Cleaning & Sanitization of Administrative area

5.1.1    Sweeping shall be done with help of nylon brooms.

5.1.2    Mopping the floors shall be done by using 0.1 % Teepol solution twice a day.

5.1.3    Disinfect the area by moping with 2.5 % V/V of Dettol & Savlon Solution (alternatively) twice a day.

5.1.4    Clean the doors, Windows with dry lint free cloth & then  with 70% IPA solution & wipe with clean lint free cloth once in a week.

5.1.5    Spray Colin spray  on glass panel & wipe with glass wiper & thoroughly clean with appropriate cloth daily.

5.1.6    Furniture is cleaned with dry lint free cloth & moping with wet cloth weekly.

5.1.7    Clean the fixtures with  dry lint free cloth on weekly basis.

5.2       Cleaning of Utility Section

5.2.1    Clean the areas with nylon brooms on daily basis.

5.2.2    Collect the waste in a separate poly bag & transfer the same to the scrap area for further disposition.

5.2.3    Use detergent solution, to remove stains of sticky materials whenever required. Finally wash the same with running water to clean the area.

5.2.4    Clean the AHU unit from outside with dry cloth on weekly basis
