SOP for Pest and rodent Control (Department : Personnel & Administration)

             OBJECTIVE              :      

1.1       To lay down a procedure for pest and rodent control treatment.    

2.0.      SCOPE                        :                                 

2.1       This procedure is applicable to pharma industry.

3.0.      RESPONSIBILITY    :  

3.1.      Out side Pest Control Agency

3.2.      Officer -P & A

4.0.      ACCOUNTABILITY :

Head of the P & A  department                                                     

5.0.      PROCEDURE                        :

5.1.      The representative of Out side pest control agency shall come one day before every last weekly off in the evening for the treatment. The frequency of treatment :  Once in a month.

5.2.      Officer – P& A will accompanying with the pest control representative.

5.3.      The representative shall check all rodent station and clear it out if any rodent found.

5.4.      Officer – P& A will ensure the procedure is going properly.

5.5.      Rodent Control.

5.5.1.   Rodenticide used : Bromadiolone

5.6.      Lizard Control.

5.6.1    Name of Pesticide used. Deltamethrin-Concentration 0.003% prepared in 700ml water

5.6.2    Area Covered : Outside factory buildings  walls only

5.7.      Ants and Black Ants.

5.7.1    Name of pesticide used. Solfac- Cyfluthrin (0.135%) prepared in 500 ml of water.

5.7.2    Area covered : Outside factory building.

5.8       Flies and Other Insects.

5.8.1    Name of pesticide used. Deltamethrin-Concentration 0.003% prepared in 700ml water

5.8.2    Area Covered : Outside factory building.
