SOP for HOUSE KEEPING IN BETA LACTUM PRODUCTS FILLING/SEALING PACKING AREA.

 

1.0        OBJECTIVE  :   

Good housekeeping is required to achieve the following objectives:

·         To facilitate smooth movement of the goods and personnel

·         To prevent contamination of stored material

·         To improve aesthetics

·         To avoid mix-ups

·         To avoid damage to the goods

 

2.0        SCOPE:

This procedure is applicable to the beta lactum packing department at any pharmaceutical industry.

 

3.0        RESPONSIBILITY   :                                                                                    

All personnel works at packing department of beta lactum.    

                                                                           

4.0        ACCOUNTABILITY           :

Head of the department             

 

5.0      PROCEDURE:

5.1        Ensure that the filling/sealing equipment and area are clean and labeled.

5.2        When filling / sealing is finish covering the equipment.

5.3        Switch off all the machinery.

5.4        All the utensils and vessels are washed properly and labeled “clean”.

5.5        Floor is cleaned, washed and dried.

5.6        During the working hours area should be kept clean and mopping in between.

5.7        The operator responsible for filling / sealing should wear face mask wherever applicable.

5.8        Frequency:

v  Cleaning daily record.

v  Weekly records of ceiling and corners cleaning record.
