SOP for Operation and Cleaning of Insecticutor (Department : Personnel & Administration)

 OBJECTIVE                          :

1.1       To lay down a procedure for Operation and cleaning of Insecticutor.                                                                                        

2.0.      SCOPE                        :

2.1       This procedure is applicable to all Insecticutors installed at  any pharma industry.                                                                            

3.0.      RESPONSIBILITY    :                                                   

3.1.      P&A personnel shall be responsible for Operating and cleaning of Insecticutor.                                                                            

4.0.      ACCOUNTABILITY             :

5.0.      PROCEDURE                        :                                                                                      

5.1       Switch off the Insecticutor before starting the cleaning procedure.       

5.2       Clean the outside surface and inside grill and tube light with the help of clean cloth. Collect the dead Insects in the tray provided for the same.   

5.3       Take out the tray and collect the dead Insects in polythene bag and close the bag.                                                       

5.4       Transfer the closed bag to scrap yard.                                    

5.5       Put back the clean tray and switch `ON' the Insecticutor.

5.6       While cleaning the Insecticutor, do not open the door.                      

5.7       Ensure that the Insecticutor is kept ON round the clock.                                       

5.8       Frequency of cleaning Insecticutor shall be on Alternate basis.
